Betula utilis Doorenbos (Himalyan Beech ‘Doorenbos’)

“Betula utilis ‘Doorenbos’  (Snow Queen) is a variant of the Himalayan Birch.

It is a deciduous, hardy, fast-growing, and narrow tree with a snowy bark that has orange-hued glints just below the peeling exterior.

Ideal as a standalone specimen or planted in batches for all-year round interest, especially in Autumn and Winter.

Tolerates most soil types as long as it’s reasonably well-drained. Appreciates a full or partial sun aspect when planted.”

Grows to a maximum height of 12 metres from 20 years and onwards.”
