Parrotia persica Bella (Persian Ironwood Bella)
“Parrotia persica Bella (Persian Ironwood Cultivar) is a small, slow-growing, deciduous tree with a broad, oval crown.
It has red flowers in late Winter and Spring on bare stems, followed by leaves which emerge with bronze edges to its deep green, glossy leaves. A stunning display of autumn colour them proceeds displaying shades of red, orange and purple.
It is an ideal tree for specimen planting in a park or large garden, reaching a potential height of 7 to 8 metres.
It does well on most soils, ideally in full sun for the best colour.”
