“Quercus palustris ‘Green Dwarf’ is, as its name suggests, a smaller and slower growing version of the pin oak species.
Green Dwarf is ideal for small gardens, producing a globose/rounded crown of shiny, serrated green leaves in Spring. In Autumn the leaves turn a beautiful hue of red before shedding.
It thrives best in full sun or light shade in moist, well-drained, neutral to acidic soil. Slow growing, it will grow to a maximum height of 4 metres with a spread of around 2 to 3 metres taking at least 20 years to reach its full height.
